Tis' the Season of the Witch~
Since I decided to revamp this particular blog, I have never been back to it. I was trying, to NOT bitch so much ;) I did delete a few blog posts, that, on hind-sight, were rather vulgar...but there comes a time in one's life, where you just have to say. Fuck it, sometimes, I am just Vulgar.
This is every Witch's favorite time of year, and I am no exception. I am a seasonal witch though, I can feel the stir, in every changing season. The Magick in the air...and it makes me want to dance!
October 1st. So many things to be excited about and looking forward to right now. I have SEVERAL magick workings, that I NEED TO BE WORKING ON ....RIGHT this very moment, but instead, here I am....coming to my secret hiding spot, to vent a bit.
As I have been going about the house today, doing the daily chores, and listening to the news...the more I want to bitch.
And bitch about what? Well, lets see...October 1st was when the Obamacare was suppose to go into effect. I have seen on facebook where people are rushing to the website, only to find that it is too busy to take that many customers on at once, so they are turning to the phone lines, where the workers are telling them, ...that YES, even though it is in effect, no one has been trained on what to do.....
The Government shut down at midnight last night.
Wait...what? The Government shut down at midnight last night....oh, partially shut down...You know, the National Parks, the Zoo's,....that sort of thing.
Ummm, okay....soooo because the Government, can't agree/decide, on ...whatever the hell it is they are debating....( Its the Obamacare, they can't agree on...right? Oh, okay...that...) But...Obamacare opened up today....the website and phone lines to it are busy... I get it...because of THAT...the National Parks and Zoo's shut down...because...yeah, that's what can't be running, while the government tries to decide what it's doing.
What website? What phone number? Is it a local number? National number? 800 number? Hmmmmm...I. don't. know. ?
But then, I just learned last night that this is the first government shut down since Clinton was in office in 95-96 and was shut down for 26 days.
What? The government shut down in 95-96' for 26 days? Where in the hell was I at? ( I'm almost 40, I was definitely here, in the 90's....well...I was certainly somewhere in the 90's. We aren't going there today.)
So, as I go about my day, listening to the news...I figure; this shut down, will effect me about as much as it did in the 90's then. Wonder what they were debating about then? Was it Monica? ( see I remember that :P I wasn't totally immune to the world back then. )
This is the main attraction of the day. So what if the Government shut down? Why should I even really give a damn? Because, honestly, I don't. Apparently my mail won't even be late, my bills will still get here in time. oh yay. ( insert sarcasm here ) But my mail carrier lady won't get paid for delivering it? So, don't deliver it then. I wouldn't. hell.
I don't care that the Government has shut down. Of course, the people who do not get paid, and the things that are shutting down, is absolute ignorance...but what else do you expect from the bunch of Morons that run our country?
If by chance, they actually figure out....what the fuck it is they are doing, and or are suppose to be doing. Hey...that'd be great. Then maybe some of us could figure it the fuck out as well.
Doubt it, but hey...
Back to my cleansing, time to turn off the news. Magickal music will abound, and I...will encircle myself back into my own little cocoon of a world.
Because, it IS, the Season of the Witch~ And I'll be damned if they will take that from me.
